Maggie Romero
I’m Maggie Romero, and I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved pet(s)! Animals have always been at the center of my life—from growing up with large dogs, cats, hermit crabs, and freshwater fish, to now being a proud cat mom to Cora, Chester, and Clementine and the doting aunt of Maude, a lovable Rottweiler mix.
After college, I worked at Petco as an Aquatics and Reptile Specialist. While I loved caring for the animals, I often found myself staying late after my shift, wanting to give them the attention they truly deserved. That experience sparked my deep empathy for exotics, prompting me to begin rescuing bearded dragons (Oscar, Dexter, and Poppy to date) and spoiling them the way I always wished I could have for all of the animals I worked with back then.
I’m experienced with administering medication to cats, dogs, reptiles, and fish, and I’m comfortable caring for animals with special needs or those requiring extra attention. Whether your pet is furry, feathery, or scaley, I bring a gentle, knowledgeable, and loving touch to every visit. I believe in treating every animal like they’re family—because to me, they are.

I’ve been working with Fetch Pet Care and caring for pets across Los Angeles for nearly five years. My focus is on dogs with a range of needs, including those with anxiety, reactivity, or behavioral challenges. For the past three years, I’ve also worked at a local dog rescue, where I handle everything from energetic litters to shy or stressed adult dogs. I enjoy building trust, structure, and routine—especially for dogs who need a little extra support.
I provide walking, sitting, boarding, medication administration (including insulin), and general behavior reinforcement. My approach is calm, consistent, and structure based. I also have personal experience raising and managing high-energy breeds—I live with two huskies and two cats—so I understand the day-to-day reality of living with both dogs and cats.
